ICOPLAST is proud to welcome you to our first World Congress in Lima, Peru. We have three days of educational symposia filled with speakers from around the globe. These speakers represent the best of the best in their fields and are representative of all of the countries that together make up ICOPLAST. ICOPLAST currently has 60 member countries representing over 18,000 plastic surgeons from around the globe and we are excited to have our members join us for this world class Congress.
In addition, we will be holding the ICOBRA symposia ahead of ICOPLAST which is the International Collaboration of Breast Registry Activities. ICOBRA has registry data from over 15 countries and continues to grow.
As the first of its kind World Congress hosted by ICOPLAST we invite you to join us to for the fantastic symposia we have planned.

Dear colleagues, professors, attendees, and friends, Greetings!!
I would like to invite you to the 1st ICOPLAST World Congress - PERU 2022, which will take place on May 19, 20 and 21 at the Swissotel in Lima, Peru.
It is an honor for Peru to be the first venue of this congress and we are ready for the challenge. We have a great team and organization that has been working for a long time for this purpose.
I would like to invite all of you to this special meeting, in which we will exchange perspectives, studies, news and research. This, with the aim of enriching ourselves academically, but also culturally and socially; remembering the ties that unite and benefit us and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
As Peruvians, we want to share with all of you our culture, hoping that you will enjoy its many historical and tourist destinations, its renowned cuisine and countless experiences that I am sure you will take home with each of you.
We await you with open arms and with the desire to form bonds that transcend time.

ICOPLAST WORLD CONGRESS 2022

Dear colleagues throughout the world,
It is my pleasure to invite you to the 1st World Congress of the International Confederation of Plastic Surgery Societies (ICOPLAST). From May 19 to 21st, 2022 our first world congress ever will be held in the beautiful city of Lima, Peru.
ICOPLAST was founded during the XXI Ibero-Latin American Congress of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Punta del Este, Uruguay in March 2016. Because of this, I am extremely delighted that our first congress will take place in this part of the world with the valuable support of the Peruvian Society of Plastic Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (SPCPRE).
Formally launched by sixty-two founding societies representing over 25,000 aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeons, ICOPLAST does not belong to any continent, region or country but supports plastic surgeons worldwide. Our main purposes are to educate, communicate, advocate and advance the specialty of plastic surgery globally, all in the widest sense of the word.
After organizing successful Symposiums held in Luxor (Egypt), Seoul (South Korea) and Waterloo (Belgium), this 1st World Congress represents the natural evolution of our commitment to education. We have prepared a wonderful program encompassing all fields of our specialty that will be enriching for everyone. We have invited outstanding speakers from all over the world who will share the latest techniques and advances.
In addition, we are also happy to announce that the 1st International Collaboration on Breast Registry Activities (ICOBRA) Meeting will be held immediately before our world congress. ICOBRA was founded by the Australasian Foundation for Plastic Surgery and now is part of ICOPLAST. Its role is to promote collaboration between clinical breast implant registries throughout the world.
Last but not least, the prestigious Sushruta Professorship Lecture in Plastic Surgery will be presented on May 19, 2022. This award has been established by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and ICOPLAST through the generosity of the Guha family to recognize a distinguished scholar in Plastic Surgery.
Despite these unprecedented pandemic times, we are planning on holding an in-person event. We believe people are eager to return to in-person meetings and socialize. Furthermore, we are confident that the pandemic will be under control by then as large-scale immunization campaigns are being implemented worldwide.
We do hope to see everyone in person in Lima. In the meantime, keep safe and stay healthy!
